امروزه کمتر کاربری وجود دارد که بازی انگری بردز (پرنده‌های خشمگین) را تجربه نکرده باشد یا حداقل نام آن را نشنیده باشد. این بازی محبوب متعلق به کمپانی بازی سازی Rovio بوده و اولین‌‌ نسخه آن در سال ۲۰۰۹ و برای سیستم‌عامل iOS کمپانی اپل منتشر شد. اندکی بعد با روی کار آمدن اسمارت‌فون‌های اندرویدی و همچنین محبوبیت فوق‌العاده فراگیر آن‌ها، سازندگان این بازی به فکر توسعه آن افتاده و نسخه اندرویدی آن را نیز روانه بازار کردند. انگری بردز نسخه‌های بسیار متنوعی از جمله Seasons، Rio، Friends و غیره دارد که هرکدام به نوبه خود موفقیت‌های چشمگیری کسب کرده‌اند.
